Each summer the Benson Foundation for the Arts holds two theater workshops for students. One is for second through fifth grade students and the second workshop is for 6th grades through highschool senior graduates. In these workshops the participants learn about an array of theater arts and produce their own production. These workshops are designed to help students develop theater arts skills as well as creative, communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Past workshop productions have included Alice in Wonderland, Seussical Jr., Once Upon a Mattress Jr., Let's Put on a Show and Bound for Broadway. If you or a child you know would like to be involved in the next workshop, please call for fees and more information.
